What is your photographic style?
When I am commissioned a new shoot, I know I have a great responsibility: to document all the key moments of the happiest day of every couple and to deliver a finished work that meets their expectations. I try to be always present but discreet, that is able to convey in the most natural way possible everything that happens in front of the camera, capturing even the most unpredictable moment without ever being intrusive or pose subjects in an unnatural way. I consider fundamental and indispensable the continuous confrontation and mutual exchange of information and opinions with the couple in order to create a synergy to achieve the best result possible.
Are you willing to move from your usual work areas?
Sure, I am available to move even in areas and / or neighboring cities. The deep knowledge of the area around me allows me to capture the best of our locations, even the lesser known ones, but when the opportunity presents itself for me to work in new areas, I am highly stimulated, both for the fact of seeing new locations, but also for the challenges that I seek to make a unique memento of your special day.
A fundamental aspect is visiting the new location before the day of your wedding.
Do you work alone?
I prefer working with an assistant photographer, whose support is very important. In addition to doubling the shots of the day, different points of view and different perspectives are valuable for post-production and the final product. The support of an assistant also allows you to capture a greater number of situations and moments that I could miss; during the day there are also situations that take place in different locations, such as the initial moment of the preparation of the couple, or during the ceremony, when you have the opportunity to catch different angles without disturbing the ceremony with inappropriate movements and in respect of the atmosphere created.
So the photos I see posted on your site are not only yours?
On the site there are both my shots and those of my co-workers.
I want to clarify that I am very selective of my assistants and that their style is aligned perfectly to mine. We work in perfect synergy, both from the point of view of the shots and how we move throughout the day.
Last but not least, by making their images public, is a source of pride and encouragement for them to always do their best.
How long will I have to wait to see the pictures?
If you like, and only with your consent, in the hours following the event there is a possibility to publish some of the photos taken on my web channels (Facebook, Pinterest, website, etc ...), so as to satisfy the curiosity of those who could not be present.
For the delivery of the samples, the wait will be about 2-3 weeks in low season and 4-5 weeks during high season.
The selection of images is a task that I always do personally. As already mentioned, we try to take many shots in order to capture every moment and emotion possible. This however implies a longer, more challenging selection process.
How do we receive the sampels?
The samples will be delivered in digital high-resolution, in chronological order and divided into various galleries that recall the highlights of the day.
After delivery of the samples, does the bride and groom choose the pictures? I have heard that the photos are chosen by the photographer only.
Upon delivery of the samples, I have already done a first selection of shots, eliminating those that did not satisfy me and leaving all those that could be included in the album. So I give the bride and groom the freedom to select the shots they want to see included in the album. Later, my post-production collaborators and I can collaborate with the couple in the choice of other shots to include in the album to make the final product more satisfying.
What types of printing do you use?
For several years now I make use of professionals for post-production and printing. In an age where more and more specialization is required, it is unlikely that the figure of the professional photographer coincides with the figure of the professional graphic designer. My presence at this stage is still constant and my job is to advise and confront the graphic designer, so that the layout reflects what I wanted to convey with the images.
The print products are made in Piedmont by a highly specialized laboratory, with a 100% guarantee of a product made in Italy.
I have heard of large differences in price lists on the market, what do you think?
As in any field of work, you may encounter large price differences between the various players in the industry, it is up to the customer to evaluate the professionalism of the photographer and the validity of his prices.
To date, in Italy, there is no Photographers union. This has resulted, thanks also to the rise of digital photography, in a host of "photographers" who do not have the experience and the certified references to be eligible for this qualification.
How much will I spend for your services?
There is no fixed price list for my services. Each estimate is created ad hoc and varied hours required for performance, type of service, distance (100 km already included in the price), printed products and accessories.

How long before do I have to confirm the date?
To this question there is no definite answer.
During popular periods, I happened to get the confirmation up to a year before. Lately confirmations take place 5/6 months before the service, but of course it all depends on the workload and commitments already made.
The services are taken care by my team and they are never delegated to third parties.
What do we need to do to confirm the date?
At first it is more then enough to send your information to prepare the draft contract. In the days following we can meet up in my studio for the formalization of the final contract and for a payment of a deposit equal to 20% of the agreed amount. If you are unable to come in person, we can formalize everything through the web.
If we ask you to carry out the service of our marriage, do you have special requirements?
The first step is to plan with you in detail the special day, even confronting, for the timing, with any professional that you will use for the organization of the wedding. I will also ask you to detail any special requirements in terms of pictures in a certain place or with certain people.
To do a good job you need to estimate the right time; do not ask me to complete my work in five minutes because the result would not be satisfactory. By dedicating the shots the right time, the end result will be excellent.
Also during the day I love surprises and insert initiatives to involve and entertain the guests at the party, but I prefer to talk about this during the planning of the day with the bride and groom.
